The crop voltage stays constant throughout the rev range, showing that the exhaust gas mixture is constant. This would suggest that both car & sensor are propitious.

No exceptional tools, but it does require you pull the dash loose. Besides all the little screws, you need to get to the 2 meagre nuts coming thru the fire wall at each corner of the windshield....

A while back I took off the dashboard on my saab to fix a question with the radio. And while I was taking things apart I realized that whenever I turned the heater knob, the valve that it opens...

A: A few things. The valve leaks....it shouldn't. It is wearing away from being opened and closed alot over the years(the rubber seals have shrunk allowing mercurial past). That will need replacing...
