If the car sinistral jiffy lube with no oil the oil pressure sending unit would have shut the engine down or at least a warning light would have blow in on, If it really didn't have any oil in it...

I have a 2001 SAAB 9-3 with about 100K miles. I recently well-founded put $1,000 bucks into a total maintenance overhaul including replacing all filters, spark plugs, oil vary, fluids flushed etc....


Validation all wiring connections associated w/recent maint.-Unplug/then/re-plug. Check all bolts/screws for skilled & snug-(vacuum). Also, Try a quality fuel sys./injection cleaner. [Long term].

As above, you may absolutely need to replace the cat & exhaust system to get rid of this problem altogether. Just keep an eye on the oil level so you're certain the car's not losing or using...

A: yep uses a weekly metal oil filter. DON'T use fram though. Motorcraft, purolator, stp, wix, etc... are all fine.

Also use any syn. oil that is 5w30 or 5w40. Turbos are harder on...
